How are your pieces made?

So I operate Verity on a made-to-order basis, this means that I only order fabric and have the pieces made up once you place an order for it. This means that I can reduce my environmental impact by not over-buying fabrics or holding onto excess stock. 

Once you’ve placed your order, I order the fabric to my seamstress, Emma. She then gets to work on sewing your pieces with the most incredible attention to detail.

How long will I have to wait for my order?

Because everything is made-to-order, you may have to wait for up to 4 weeks until your order arrives with you. This is because I don’t have your pieces readily available to ship out to you as soon as you place an order. But I promise gorg it'll be worth the wait.

How do I care for my Verity the Brand pieces?

You should refer to the care label on each item you order, but generally you should wash your items on a gentle cycle at 30 degrees. Don't tumble dry, air dry and make sure to re-shape whilst damp. Iron on a low-medium heat depending on the fabric. In some cases, your pieces may be dry clean only.

How will I know your pieces will fit me?

While I would love to guarantee that every piece will perfectly fit everybody, it’s just simply not possible. There’s lots of information on the website to help you determine whether the pieces will fit you.

Do you offer custom sizes?

I don’t currently offer custom sizes, but custom lengths are available as standard. You can find out how to customise your pieces on each product page.

You'll need to select an option for all the measurements displayed on the product page.

When will you extend your size range?

As soon as budget and knowledge allows me to quite honestly. I want to extend my sizes ASAP but I am also terrified of getting it so wrong. It’s taken a lot for me to put out 4 sizes for the first collection, because I feel like there’s so much pressure to get tall sizing right.

I really want to perfect my current sizes first, to feel fully confident about then extending my size range.

I know this will be frustrating for some, but as a small business I just can’t do everything all at once. But I promise that as soon as I can I will be extending my sizes.



How long will my order take to be delivered?

Your order can take up to 4 weeks to be made and delivered. Once your order has been shipped, it should be delivered within 2-3 working days if you're in the UK. International orders can take 5-7 working days to be delivered.

Please note that these times are an estimate, I am not responsible for any delays once your item has been shipped. 

Can I track my delivery?

Yes, once your order has been shipped, you'll receive an email with your tracking number. All orders are sent via Royal Mail tracked services.

Is your packaging eco-friendly?

Yes! This is something that is super important to me. All of the packaging is either recyclable or biodegradable, or made from recycled materials. You can recycle the box, swing tag and thank you card. The tissue paper and stickers are biodegradable.

Where do you deliver to?

I ship to the UK & Rest of World. Currently, I don't ship to the EU due Brexit delaying shipments and adding high customs charges for customers.
